VERTICALLY INTEGRATED SOCIALISM (2ND VERSION / CENTRE CLARK, MONTREAL)
2017. ARCHITECTURAL INSTALLATION, 10 MINUTES SINGLE CHANEL VIDEO WITH SOUND, SERIES OF 20 LECTURE-PERFORMANCES
, DIMENSIONS VARIABLE.

The installation was created to present a new version of Vertically Integrated Socialism (originally presented at the 2015 Bruges Triennial), in the format of a 45 minutes lecture-performance. The installation also included the video Prelude to Vertically Integrated Socialism: A Few Words About Horizontality, which played on loop between the live presentations. The video and the installation reference each other in an exploration of architectural, ideological and social "infinities"; the exhibition, as a whole, was a metaphysical reflection on social divisions as embodied by either vertical or horizontal structures.
